ADU
An Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) is a small, self-contained residential unit located on the same property as a primary home. ADUs can take various forms, including garage conversions, basement apartments, or standalone structures like tiny houses or cottages. They are designed to be fully functional living spaces with their own kitchen, bathroom, and living areas, but they share the same lot as the main house.
